Invisalign - clear braces

The use of clear dental braces has become increasingly popular and more dentist are issuing it as an alternative to the traditional metal dental braces.

Invisalign is the only choice of clear braces available in the market and has got a patent over these custom made aligners. It is not suited to everyone and hence one requires a consultation with a dentist to determine if Invisalign is an option.

The process, like other advanced cosmetic dental procedures, require xrays, pictures and impressions of your teeth. Once a treatment plan has been established a series of plastic custom-made, clear aligners are then made up. They are worn throughout the day and only removed to eat and brush. As you wear each set of aligners, your teeth gently and gradually begin to shift into place.

The cost of Invisalign is usually determined by the  complexity and duration of the treatment, so it is best to consult with a dentist.
